Important Information

History of Grand Hotel dates back to the middle of the XIX century, when the first Lviv public casino was opened in a two-storey Empire-style building. Later, in 1892-93 the building has been rebuilt and acquired the present day appearance. In December 1893 a hotel was opened for visitors and in a short time it got the reputation of the best and the most comfortable in the city. At that time all social life of the city was happening around this hotel, the main shops and restaurants were situated next to it, important meetings took place, distinguished guests stayed here.
